Our Story

Our Story

Raw Habitat started with soil under my fingernails and a genuine love for growing things. I am a flower farmer first — tending our own seasonal blooms and foliages right here in the Margaret River region of Western Australia.

Gardening is not just part of the process for me. It is the whole point. Watching a stem grow from seed to something extraordinary, then placing it into an arrangement that ends up on someone's table or in their hands on a meaningful day — that connection is what drives everything we do.

Grown Here, Arranged Here

Because we grow our own flowers and foliages, what you receive is genuinely seasonal. The varieties change as the garden does — responding to the rainfall, the light, and the rhythms of the Southwest. There are no shortcuts. Just honest, farm-grown florals at their peak.

This is what farm-to-florist really means: the same hands that tend the garden arrange the flowers.

Everything on our farm is grown spray free — it’s one of the things I feel most proud of.

I also grow phalaenopsis orchids indoors — their elegance and longevity make them a natural extension of what we love about flowers that endure.

A Love of Australian Natives

Our garden and our arrangements are shaped by a deep love of Australian natives — banksias, proteas, kangaroo paw, leucadendron, and the extraordinary native grasses and foliages that grow so freely in this part of the world. They are textural, enduring, and unmistakably of this place.

Margaret River, Western Australia

We are rooted in Margaret River — a region known for its creative community, dramatic landscape, and people who care deeply about craft. It shapes our palette, our aesthetic, and our values.

Thank you for choosing flowers that are grown and made with love, right here at home.
